Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ingvar Lind made the kick off and thus started the match. Olov Askelöf who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Erik Åkerman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Olov Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Lind hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Urshult's goalkeeper Erik Åkerman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Kalix booed when Urshult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Åkerman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Sjöberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Patrik Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrik Sjöberg in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Åkerman saved Urshult from getting behind. After 21 played minutes Urshult got a freekick which was hit by Nils-Åke Nyström. Olov Askelöf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nils-Åke Nyström's late challenge caught a Kalix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nils-Åke Nyström helped the player get up and apologised. Nils-Åke Nyström hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Patrik Sjöberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Kalix's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 30th minute, Nils-Åke Nyström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viktor Ahlrot was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erik Åkerman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olov Askelöf in the 32nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Sjöberg in the 39th minute of play forced Urshult's goalkeeper Erik Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Åkerman was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Patrik Sjöberg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrik Sjöberg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Kalix's Jens-Erik Tolsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Fribäck in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Urshult was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Koch to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Sjöberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Åkerman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Sjöberg ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Patrik Sjöberg made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Kalix's Jens-Erik Tolsson got control of the ball when Kurt Fribäck tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Kurt Fribäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Jens-Erik Tolsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Ingvar Lind in the 63rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kurt Fribäck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens-Erik Tolsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Olov Askelöf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Patrik Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalix's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olov Askelöf took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Åkerman. Erik Åkerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Kalix's Patrik Sjöberg got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Askelöf in the 83rd minute of play forced Urshult's goalkeeper Erik Åkerman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patrik Sjöberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Patrik Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalix's supporters rose to their feet, but Patrik Sjöberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erik Åkerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viggo Olenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
