Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC Orange's Michael Sandwall got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Sandwall got free with Marcus Eliasson in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars-Erik Olsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Alström having to interfere. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Merkelen BoIS! When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, FC Orange's Stefan Josefsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcus Eliasson. In the 21st minute Roger Larsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ove Alström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Larsson in the 25th minute of the match. Jens-Ove Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Larsson in the 26th minute of play. Jakob Ahlgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jens-Ove Alström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Orange getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Simon Jakobsson hit a great ball. 38 minutes into the match, FC Merkelen BoIS's goalkeeper Marcus Eliasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michael Sandwall. The supporters of FC Merkelen BoIS booed when FC Orange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Josefsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roger Larsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcus Eliasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Gustafsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Stefan Josefsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Merkelen BoIS's Marcus Eliasson didn't even have to move. Jakob Ahlgren's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 64thth minute, Jens-Ove Alström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Larsson succeeded in the game's 65th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. Jens-Ove Alström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Larsson in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Roger Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Merkelen BoIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Larsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Roger Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Merkelen BoIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Alström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Sandwall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
