Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Torgny Nyberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience was convinced that Mårten Svartengren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Ove Alegren was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. If Gert Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sten Salkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torgny Nyberg's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Domsjö's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Alegren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Sten Salkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when Domsjö's Gert Ryberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Torgny Nyberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Sten Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Torgny Nyberg in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sten Salkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brian Holmberg struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Karl-Ove Alegren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åstorp. If Gert Ryberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Brian Holmberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Alegren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sten Salkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torgny Nyberg in the 38th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Torgny Nyberg took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sten Salkvist to make any attempt to save it. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Mårten Svartengren made the kick off in the second half. Eskil Martinsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl-Ove Alegren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åstorp's Eskil Martinsson got a free kick in the 51st minute. Rasmus Palm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sten Salkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Torgny Nyberg in the 61st minute of play forced Åstorp's goalkeeper Sten Salkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Gert Ryberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sten Salkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mårten Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Ove Alegren made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Brian Holmberg sent off a good shot on target. Mårten Svartengren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Bodin kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Domsjö's zone, Brian Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Alegren came out of the goal and Brian Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl-Ove Alegren made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eskil Martinsson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Domsjö getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Christer Rudberg hit a great ball. If Mårten Svartengren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Domsjö's zone, Brian Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Ove Alegren came out of the goal and Brian Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mårten Svartengren kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl-Ove Alegren. That made the score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Domsjö's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Alegren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Holmberg. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Åstorp had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
