Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Viggo Nordström made the kick off which started today's match. Algot Linberg made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tord Heggert sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viggo Nordström in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Linberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 11 minutes into the game, Ed's Tord Heggert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Algot Linberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Jan-Olof Stabbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svante Gustafsson in the 14th minute of play. Thomas Håkansson charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas Håkansson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Billeberga BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Viggo Nordström scored to the left of an out of position Algot Linberg, making the score, 2-0. Algot Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Nordström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Algot Linberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Viggo Nordström showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 31 minute of play. Viggo Nordström struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Algot Linberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ed. 39 minutes into the match, Ed's Viggo Nordström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Algot Linberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Olof Stabbe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sten Öman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Tord Heggert in the 52nd minute of play forced Billeberga BK's goalkeeper Algot Linberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tord Heggert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tord Heggert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Algot Linberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Billeberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Viggo Nordström came free, but Algot Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Billeberga BK's Jesper Kjellkvist got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 75th match minute, Billeberga BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Skoglund to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Billeberga BK's goal looked a bit too open when Tord Heggert came free, but Algot Linberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esbjörn Arvidsson's late challenge caught a Billeberga BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esbjörn Arvidsson helped the player get up and apologised. Esbjörn Arvidsson hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Algot Linberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 92nd minute of the match Bror Abrahamsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Algot Linberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tord Heggert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Algot Linberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Billeberga BK's Algot Linberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Heggert in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ed had won after a very even match.
