Markus Axelsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Giöck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Markus Axelsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Bo Brander struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Stig Giöck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tjurkö IF. Önnestad's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Markus Axelsson scored to the left of an out of position Stig Giöck, making the score, 1-0. Sakarias Eliasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Hegg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jon Mellbad's late challenge caught a Önnestad's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Mellbad helped the player get up and apologised. Jon Mellbad hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Sven-Åke Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Stig Giöck stood somewhat misplaced when Markus Axelsson came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Markus Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Giöck having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Alfred Hegg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Önnestad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfred Hegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Hegg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sakarias Eliasson having to interfere. With a little luck, Önnestad's Stig Giöck got control of the ball when Markus Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zebastian Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bo Brander made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Eddie Sandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute of the match Sven-Åke Andreasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stig Giöck showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lucas Rudberg's late challenge caught a Tjurkö IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucas Rudberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th match minute, Önnestad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Rudberg to maneuver through the defense. Bo Brander might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Giöck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bo Brander ran back to his position shaking his head. Stig Giöck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Axelsson in the 74th minute of play. Önnestad's Zebastian Sörman got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Tjurkö IF's Bo Brander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stig Giöck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The audience was convinced that Bo Brander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stig Giöck was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. In the 89th minute, Bo Brander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stig Giöck was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Bo Brander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Giöck having to interfere.
