Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hakkas's Jens-Åke Abelsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 13 minutes of play, Hakkas's Jens-Åke Abelsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inge Lagerberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Olof Billing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Frank Siggman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 20 minutes into the match, Sandarne's goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Åke Abelsson came free, but Inge Lagerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Erik Grubb in the 22nd minute of play forced Hakkas's goalkeeper Frank Siggman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Hakkas's Per Ahlquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inge Lagerberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Sandarne's Sven-Erik Grubb got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Olof Billing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Per Ahlquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Inge Lagerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 42 played minutes Sandarne got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Bagge. The corner led Sandarne's Isaac Vesterberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank Siggman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sven-Erik Grubb was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sandarne! The goalkeeper, Inge Lagerberg, was totally fooled by Hakkas's Sverker Mårtensson, who 57 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 61 minutes into the match, Hakkas's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Billing came free, but Frank Siggman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Billing struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Frank Siggman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandarne. Sven-Erik Grubb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Siggman having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Sandarne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Börje Ryberg to maneuver through the defense. The Sandarne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. If Sven-Erik Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Hakkas got a freekick which was hit by Robert Fors. Isaac Vesterberg shot a long shot in the 93rd minute and a light blocked Frank Siggman hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 3-3. 97 minutes into the match, Sandarne's Sven-Erik Grubb sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Siggman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
