Birger Andreasson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. Våxtorp's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Jim Vedholm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Ekström, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Karl-Åke Broberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Broberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Hultin having to interfere. Stig-Arne Vennersten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olov Hultin. Våxtorp's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sakarias Sjöström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Våxtorp got a freekick which was hit by Stig Eliasson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Broberg in the 23rd minute of play forced Våxtorp's goalkeeper Olov Hultin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Våxtorp's Birger Andreasson in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Landvetter FK's goalie prevented a goal. Tobias Ekström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jim Vedholm having to make a save. When Tobias Ekström came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Våxtorp fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Ekström couldn't finish the play. If Birger Andreasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Birger Andreasson in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Vedholm saved Landvetter FK from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Birger Andreasson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sakarias Sjöström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Birger Andreasson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Jim Vedholm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jim Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Andreasson in the 60th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Landvetter FK's Stig-Arne Vennersten got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jim Vedholm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Birger Andreasson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. After 74 played minutes Våxtorp got a freekick which was hit by Stig Eliasson. In the 77thth minute of the game Tobias Ekström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Landvetter FK's Jim Vedholm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landvetter FK's goalkeeper Jim Vedholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stig-Arne Vennersten's late challenge caught a Våxtorp's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Vennersten helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Landvetter FK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Arne Vennersten. Jim Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Andreasson in the 89th minute of the match. Våxtorp's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sakarias Sjöström 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Birger Andreasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landvetter FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
