Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Freddie Stabbe made the kick off and thus started the match. Stig-Ove Wikander's late challenge caught a AL AHLY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Ove Wikander helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 minutes, Martin Jansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AL AHLY and the Segmon players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, AL AHLY's Martin Jansson got a free kick in the 6th minute. When Esbjörn Helström came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Segmon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Esbjörn Helström couldn't finish the play. If Rikard Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in AL AHLY's zone, Rikard Josefsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sören Forsberg came out of the goal and Rikard Josefsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to AL AHLY getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Freddie Stabbe hit a great ball. John Aleberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, AL AHLY's goal looked a bit too open when Rikard Josefsson came free, but Sören Forsberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esbjörn Helström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sören Forsberg having to make a save. Rikard Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sören Forsberg having to make a save. John Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pelle Melberg having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Martin Jansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. AL AHLY's John Aleberg got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when John Aleberg got free with Pelle Melberg in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Rikard Josefsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of AL AHLY's Sören Forsberg. Sören Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esbjörn Helström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sören Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After some careless play in the AL AHLY defense, Rikard Josefsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sören Forsberg. The AL AHLY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Forsberg should have stopped the shot. Sören Forsberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rikard Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Sören Forsberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rikard Josefsson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. If Rikard Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. John Aleberg struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Pelle Melberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AL AHLY. 96 minutes into the match, Rikard Josefsson notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of AL AHLY's Sören Forsberg. Sören Forsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Segmon's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
