Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sune Sjögren started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute Tor Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Ahlkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Roger Thedin fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nykroppa RK's protests and gave Roger Thedin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Roger Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Arne Browall was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kenneth Johansson during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Garpenberg booed when Nykroppa RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenneth Johansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. George Ödmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Kenneth Ahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 minutes of play, Garpenberg's Sune Sjögren made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Wallengren was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kenneth Ahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when George Ödmann sent off a good shot on target. Nykroppa RK's Tor Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Ola Kellbom notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Nykroppa RK's Isac Wallengren. Isac Wallengren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ola Kellbom struck a weak shot in the 49th minute. Isac Wallengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garpenberg.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tor Engström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nykroppa RK's Tor Engström got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Garpenberg's Andreas Biörnberg got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Tor Engström put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Kenneth Ahlkvist. After 75 minutes, Ulf Rolfsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garpenberg and the Nykroppa RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ulf Rolfsson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sune Sjögren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Thedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 84 minutes into the game, when Roy Dahlqvist put in a rough tackle. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garpenberg! In the 93rd minute, Roger Thedin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ola Kellbom took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Wallengren. Isac Wallengren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Garpenberg's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
