Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hedesunda's Evert Västberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Västberg came free, but Nils-Åke Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hallstahammar FF getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sivert Aspengren hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Hallstahammar FF's Kjell Dahlkvist got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Hallstahammar FF's zone, Patrik Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Åke Nordström came out of the goal and Patrik Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Patrik Lundqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kåre Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carl Winström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kåre Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute Evert Västberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hallstahammar FF's Nils-Åke Nordström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Hallstahammar FF from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rune Ros in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Winström saved Hedesunda from getting behind. Patrik Lundqvist scored 1-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Åke Nordström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Hedesunda's Evert Västberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Hannes Hernström fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hedesunda's protests and gave Hannes Hernström a yellow card for diving instead. Hannes Hernström hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Isaksson in the 45th minute of play forced Hedesunda's goalkeeper Carl Winström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes, Valdemar Bållström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hedesunda and the Hallstahammar FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Valdemar Bållström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Patrik Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Nils-Åke Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Lundqvist in the 61st minute of play forced Hallstahammar FF's goalkeeper Nils-Åke Nordström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hallstahammar FF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonny Lundqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Hedesunda's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jonny Lundqvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hallstahammar FF's Nils-Åke Nordström did a great save. After 71 minutes of play, Hedesunda's Patrik Lundqvist made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Åke Nordström was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Hallstahammar FF's Rune Ros slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Winström. That made the score 2-1 after 79 minutes of play. In the 82ndth minute of the game Evert Västberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hallstahammar FF's Nils-Åke Nordström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Hallstahammar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Lundqvist came free, but Nils-Åke Nordström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sivert Aspengren kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nils-Åke Nordström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evert Västberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Hedesunda's Evert Västberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nils-Åke Nordström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Patrik Lundqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hedesunda had won after a very even match.
