Östen Deckbergh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Sigfridsson in the 3rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Ahlberg in the 7th minute of play forced Stråssa IFK's goalkeeper Greger Jonsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgar Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Greger Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Ian Överman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Greger Jonsson, passed just outside the right post. If Dan Åkerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 27 minutes, Dan Åkerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stråssa IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dan Åkerberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Edgar Ahlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Ahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Greger Jonsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ian Överman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Jonsson having to interfere. In the 41stth minute of the game Edgar Ahlberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stråssa IFK's Greger Jonsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 42 minutes, Gunnar Ugla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stråssa IFK and the Mullsjö players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Stråssa IFK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gunnar Ugla hit a great ball. When Ian Överman came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Mullsjö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Överman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Stråssa IFK's zone, Ian Överman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Jonsson came out of the goal and Ian Överman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

In the 53rd minute of the match Stig Martinsson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Östen Deckbergh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Greger Jonsson came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Mullsjö's Edgar Ahlberg. But to his dismay, Edgar Ahlberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 61st match minute, Stråssa IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Ugla to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes Stråssa IFK got a freekick which was hit by Stig Martinsson. In the 68th minute, Edgar Ahlberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mullsjö fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ian Överman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Överman in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Gustaf Sigfridsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Östen Deckbergh having to make a save.
