Valdemar Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Kennet Vidman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kennet Vidman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Törnkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Valdemar Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 19th minute of the match Sten Lund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christer Bammerman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Kiruna IF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Malte Joensson hit a great ball. Marcus Pettersson took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christer Bammerman. Christer Bammerman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Alexander Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valdemar Strömberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Kennet Vidman made a huge save. 31 minutes into the match, Överskottsbolaget's goalkeeper Kennet Vidman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar Strömberg. In the 31st match minute, Överskottsbolaget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Kock to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Michael Wennerberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kennet Vidman showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Valdemar Strömberg struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Kennet Vidman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kiruna IF. After 42 minutes, Jan-Ove Stål mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kiruna IF and the Överskottsbolaget players grew even worse after the yellow card. Christer Bammerman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Överskottsbolaget's Kennet Vidman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Törnkvist in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alexander Törnkvist to strike the kick off in the second half. Christer Bammerman made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Marcus Pettersson sent off a good shot on target. In the 56th minute, Valdemar Strömberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Malte Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennet Vidman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Törnkvist in the 60th minute of play. In the 71st minute Valdemar Strömberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kennet Vidman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They were angered to see Kiruna IF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
