The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee ignored Rydaholm BF's protests and gave Tobias Smitt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lomma booed when Rydaholm BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobias Smitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Hedlund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Knut Rosin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lomma's Valentin Mattsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Lomma from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Rydaholm BF's zone, Michael Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Knut Rosin came out of the goal and Michael Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lomma's Michael Hedlund managed to work through Rydaholm BF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Michael Hedlund dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 18 minutes into the game, Zebastian Sjöberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rydaholm BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lomma the free kick. A collision led to Rydaholm BF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zebastian Sjöberg hit a great ball. Knut Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Hedlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Knut Rosin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Knut Rosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Hedlund in the 32nd minute of the match. Valentin Mattsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josef Lindholm, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Michael Hedlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lomma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michael Hedlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Michael Hedlund made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kalle Håning in the 56th minute of play forced Rydaholm BF's goalkeeper Knut Rosin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Josef Lindholm notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Lomma's Valentin Mattsson. Valentin Mattsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Knut Rosin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Hedlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute, Josef Lindholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valentin Mattsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 78th minute, Rydaholm BF's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roger Svensson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Douglas Kilman came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Rydaholm BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Douglas Kilman couldn't finish the play. Knut Rosin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Roger Svensson sent off a good shot on target. Michael Hedlund struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Knut Rosin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lomma. Rydaholm BF's Knut Rosin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Rydaholm BF from getting a goal against them. Zebastian Sjöberg hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the match, Rydaholm BF's goalkeeper Knut Rosin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roger Svensson. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lomma players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Rydaholm BF.
