Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isak Salkvist got the match started through his kick off. Turfens United's Östen Lindholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Esbjörnsson in the 3rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Holm in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Lindholm saved Turfens United from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Turfens United's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Esbjörnsson came free, but Östen Lindholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Turfens United's goalkeeper Östen Lindholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Edgar Esbjörnsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Åsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Esbjörnsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Lindholm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 32 minutes into the match, Åsa's goalkeeper Conny Drake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Godholm. After a defensive mix-up in Turfens United's zone, Edgar Lindström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Östen Lindholm came out of the goal and Edgar Lindström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mats Holm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute Mats Holm collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. Albin Sigman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Sigman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Turfens United! After the first half Åsa were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Edgar Esbjörnsson made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Isak Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turfens United's supporters rose to their feet, but Isak Salkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Conny Drake breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Turfens United booed when Åsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Lindström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Turfens United's Osvald Gustafsson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Isak Salkvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Drake having to interfere. In the 65th minute Edgar Esbjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Östen Lindholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Turfens United defense, Edgar Esbjörnsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Östen Lindholm. The Turfens United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Östen Lindholm should have stopped the shot. Edgar Esbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Lindholm having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Edgar Esbjörnsson rounded Turfens United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Erik Busk hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Erik Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Edgar Esbjörnsson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Åsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Esbjörnsson couldn't finish the play. Edgar Esbjörnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Lindholm having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Edgar Lindström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Östen Lindholm. The goal made the score 0-5. Edgar Esbjörnsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Östen Lindholm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Jakobsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Östen Lindholm having to make a save. Edgar Esbjörnsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åsa played a much better game than Turfens United and deserved their victory. The Turfens United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
