After 3 played minutes Nykvarn got a freekick which was hit by Vidar Kiempe. Frans Vase in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Evert Gråberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 9th match minute, Pålsboda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Springfält to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Jakobsson in the 10th minute of play forced Pålsboda's goalkeeper Elof Lundblad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reine Josefsson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. Pålsboda's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Herman Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elof Lundblad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Groth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Pålsboda got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Markusson. The Nykvarn fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Nykvarn's Allan Groth looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Herman Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Elof Lundblad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Allan Groth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Lundblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Per-Åke Markusson charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Åke Markusson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pålsboda getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Per-Åke Markusson hit a great ball. Mikael Fernkvist's late challenge caught a Nykvarn's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Fernkvist helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes Pålsboda got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Fernkvist. In the 47th minute Herman Jakobsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Lundblad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Herman Jakobsson made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Reine Josefsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Gråberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Josefsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evert Gråberg having to interfere. Herman Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Edmund Malmström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nykvarn's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Malmström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elof Lundblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Pålsboda's goal looked a bit too open when Edmund Malmström came free, but Elof Lundblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nykvarn's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
