Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Hedesunda's Ronny Hagström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Pålsboda's zone, Ronny Hagström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Lundblad came out of the goal and Ronny Hagström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torsten Lundin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Elof Lundblad skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 14 minutes, Mattias Stor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pålsboda and the Hedesunda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Pålsboda got a freekick which was hit by Mattias Stor. Niklas Biörling hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reine Josefsson in the 18th minute of play forced Hedesunda's goalkeeper Tommy Torsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pålsboda booed when Hedesunda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agne Kielstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 24 minutes, Leif Alberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hedesunda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Alberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Torsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reine Josefsson in the 33rd minute of play. Kristoffer Lindholm took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elof Lundblad. Pålsboda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ronny Hagström came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Hedesunda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronny Hagström couldn't finish the play. Elof Lundblad made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Torsten Lundin sent off a good shot on target. Ronny Hagström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elof Lundblad read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Allan Knutsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Reine Josefsson made the kick off in the second half. When Reine Josefsson came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Pålsboda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reine Josefsson couldn't finish the play. Torsten Lundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Torsten Lundin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elof Lundblad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee ended the match the Hedesunda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
