Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Valdemar Vennersten started the match with the kick off. When Valdemar Vennersten came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Åshöjdens BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdemar Vennersten couldn't finish the play. Jesper Holm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Sigman went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Uno Kvalfält kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Jesper Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Sigman in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Valdemar Vennersten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Göran Bollström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Sten Sigman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torekov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sten Sigman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Torekov's zone, Jan-Olof Sundström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göran Bollström came out of the goal and Jan-Olof Sundström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jesper Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Lindblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Åshöjdens BK's zone, Klas Lindblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesper Holm came out of the goal and Klas Lindblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Åshöjdens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uno Kvalfält to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Sten Sigman notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Åshöjdens BK's Jesper Holm. Jesper Holm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Göran Bollström made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Jan-Olof Sundström sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Sigman made a kick off. Jesper Holm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Lindblom in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute, Jan-Olof Sundström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Åshöjdens BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. 65 minutes into the match, Valdemar Vennersten had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göran Bollström. Torekov's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdemar Vennersten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Sten Sigman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åshöjdens BK's Jesper Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Sigman in the 81st minute of play. Jesper Holm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Sigman's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Klas Lindblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jesper Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Torekov supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Torekov would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
