With a little luck, Skog's Jan-Olof Edström got control of the ball when Elias Bäcklin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jens-Ove Hylander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Bjursell in the 24th minute of play. Jan-Olof Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Jelm in the 26th minute of the match. Staffan Wiberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jens-Ove Hylander. Vista Härad's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Torgny Vidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Bjursell made a kick off. Bengt Odman hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Isaac Bjursell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Skog defense, Elias Bäcklin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan-Olof Edström. The Skog fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan-Olof Edström should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Bernt Jelm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Olof Edström. Skog's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bernt Jelm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 77th minute, Elias Bäcklin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Torgny Vidman came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Skog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Vidman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Isaac Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skog's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaac Bjursell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens-Ove Hylander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Torgny Vidman came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Skog fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Torgny Vidman couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Härad's zone, Isaac Bjursell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens-Ove Hylander came out of the goal and Isaac Bjursell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torgny Vidman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Jens-Ove Hylander made a huge save. Jan-Olof Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Jelm, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Jens-Ove Hylander came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Skog's Torgny Vidman. But to his dismay, Torgny Vidman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
