Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joachim Fristedt started the match with the kick off. Bengt-Rune Viberg kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Vidman got free with Olof Vallin in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 8th match minute, Forserum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Smitt to maneuver through the defense. Olof Vallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Bjursell, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13thth minute of the game Göran Biörkquist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Skog's Jan-Olof Edström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 15 played minutes, Forserum's Kim Hermansson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan-Olof Edström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Forserum reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Torgny Vidman got free with Olof Vallin in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Skog booed when Forserum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Smitt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Bjursell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Vallin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Bjursell in the 29th minute of the match. Isaac Bjursell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Vallin having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Skog was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Ove Enström to maneuver through the defense. Joachim Fristedt succeeded in the game's 38th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Forserum getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Joakim Mickelsson hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Torgny Vidman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Vallin was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After having played for 61 minutes, Isaac Bjursell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skog's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Bjursell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torgny Vidman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Vallin having to interfere. In the 91st minute Torgny Vidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olof Vallin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Skog's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Edström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Forserum's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
