After having played for 15 minutes, Mattias Eliasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Eliasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixten Spets was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Eric Asmundsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eric Asmundsson really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jonas Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mattias Eliasson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Rottne eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
