Gränna IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slottsbron BK the free kick. The supporters of Slottsbron BK booed when Gränna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börge Ennegren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 8 minutes of play, Gränna IF's Tim Josefsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stellan Hedvall was left in no man's land by his defense there! Börge Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Linus Wallin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Gränna IF's Björn Dahlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stellan Hedvall made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gränna IF's Linus Wallin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Börge Björk in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Gränna IF getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Christian Jelm hit a great ball. Stellan Hedvall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Dahlberg in the 35th minute of play. Stellan Hedvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute, Björn Dahlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Gränna IF's goalkeeper Linus Wallin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thor Abrahamsson. Stellan Hedvall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Josefsson's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. In the 46th match minute, Slottsbron BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Molander to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Börge Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stellan Hedvall made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Börge Ennegren sent off a good shot on target. After 80 played minutes Tim Josefsson rounded Slottsbron BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. 86 minutes into the match, Tim Josefsson notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Slottsbron BK's Stellan Hedvall. Stellan Hedvall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Thor Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slottsbron BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Thor Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Linus Wallin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Börge Ennegren kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Gränna IF played a much better game than Slottsbron BK and deserved their victory. The Slottsbron BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
