In the 4th minute, Tage Ahlkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Dag Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Dag Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Järved's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dag Isaksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Knut Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Erik Snäll in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Åsljunga BK's Felix Göransson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Knut Sjöberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Isaksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dag Isaksson succeeded in the game's 26th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Knut Sjöberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dag Isaksson's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes, Evert Kvalfält mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Järved and the Åsljunga BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Evert Kvalfält hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the game, Elliot Odén was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsljunga BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Järved the free kick. After 34 played minutes Åsljunga BK got a freekick which was hit by Elliot Odén. If Dag Isaksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens Britz was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Örjan Juhlin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Örjan Juhlin really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 58th match minute, Järved was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Åsljunga BK's Örjan Juhlin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Nils-Erik Snäll struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Knut Sjöberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Järved. Dag Isaksson kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Dag Isaksson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Knut Sjöberg. Dag Isaksson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Järved's zone, Örjan Juhlin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Britz came out of the goal and Örjan Juhlin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Örjan Juhlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Åsljunga BK's Knut Sjöberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Åsljunga BK from getting a goal against them. Dag Isaksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Knut Sjöberg having to interfere.
