In the 4th minute Gustav Bagge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gustav Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Hestra IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustav Bagge couldn't finish the play. In the 8th match minute, Mölndal Raiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Oskar Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. Gustav Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Peder Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustav Bagge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingemar Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Frisk in the 27th minute of the match. Ingemar Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Frisk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes Hestra IFK got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Bengtsson. Ingemar Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Frisk in the 31st minute of the match. If Christian Frisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Hestra IFK booed when Mölndal Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustav Adelsköld didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 39 in the game by Johan Kiempe from a close distance when the talented Peder Lidberg managed to make a qualified save. Mölndal Raiders's players were relieved. Peder Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gustav Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Peder Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Mölndal Raiders's Peder Lidberg got control of the ball when Johan Kiempe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Christian Frisk made the kick off in the second half. Christian Frisk struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Ingemar Petersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mölndal Raiders. Johan Kiempe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Peder Lidberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Christian Frisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ingemar Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Hestra IFK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christian Frisk fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 2-1 became the score in the 69th minute when Gustav Bagge elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ingemar Petersson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Niclas Kristiansson. The supporters of Hestra IFK booed when Mölndal Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Johan Kiempe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Lidberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Lidberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Bagge in the 86th minute of play. Gustav Bagge struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Peder Lidberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hestra IFK. A collision led to Hestra IFK getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Oskar Molin hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hestra IFK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mölndal Raiders had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
