Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Mats Sander made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Gert Back had to leave the field with a concussion. Mats Mellberg's late challenge caught a Gunnarskog's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mats Mellberg helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Cave Canem:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gunnarskog:s goal. The referee gave Gunnarskog a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jonathan Linqvist, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cave Canem's Kevin Alefors. 0-1. Christer Lund hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Gunnarskog's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaf Palm came free, but Karl-Ove Påk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lars Odén fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cave Canem's protests and gave Lars Odén a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Cave Canem got a freekick which was hit by Lars Odén. Mats Sander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Alefors having to interfere. After 36 minutes, Maximilian Ståhlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunnarskog and the Cave Canem players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gunnarskog's Maximilian Ståhlberg got a free kick in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cave Canem's zone, Mats Sander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Alefors came out of the goal and Mats Sander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cave Canem's Kevin Alefors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Sander in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Thomas Hultman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Gunnarskog were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustaf Palm made a kick off. Anton Björkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Sander in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Alefors saved Cave Canem from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Cave Canem's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Sander came free, but Kevin Alefors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes, Mats Sander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gunnarskog and the Cave Canem players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gunnarskog's goalkeeper Karl-Ove Påk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anton Björkman scored 1-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Ove Påk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cave Canem's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Mats Sander scored to the left of an out of position Kevin Alefors, making the score, 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Björkman in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Ove Påk saved Gunnarskog from getting behind. Kevin Alefors made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Sander in the 91st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Gunnarskog's Mats Sander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kevin Alefors. That made the score 1-4 after 96 minutes of play. Gunnarskog's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
