Jörgen Vedholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Viktor Björnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emanuel Hägg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Vedholm having to interfere. Matthias Löfgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fritz Ekström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Viktor Björnberg struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Jörgen Vedholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väja IFK. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Viktor Björnberg put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Jörgen Vedholm. A collision led to Väja IFK getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mikael Erserman hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Fritz Ekström reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matthias Löfgren. The goal made the score 1-4. After the first half Väja IFK were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Viktor Björnberg made the kick off in the second half. Emanuel Hägg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Jörgen Vedholm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viktor Björnberg in the 61st minute of play forced FC Lökovic's goalkeeper Jörgen Vedholm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Lökovic's Douglas Kuse got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Viktor Björnberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jörgen Vedholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. If Fritz Ekström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Kjell Brander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Väja IFK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
