Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joachim Axelsson started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Truppen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Patric Backlund came free, but Niklas Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niklas Berglund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patric Backlund in the 11th minute of the match. Ulrik Axelsson hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Tommy Alén, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patric Backlund in the 16th minute of play forced Truppen FC's goalkeeper Niklas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Niklas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils-Emil Wassenius in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Hälleforsnäs booed when Truppen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roger Alefors didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hälleforsnäs's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Haegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Hälleforsnäs's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Haegg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reine Jonsson. Nils-Emil Wassenius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Niklas Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes Hälleforsnäs got a freekick which was hit by Eric Forsman. Joachim Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Karl-Johan Haegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Johan Haegg made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Reine Jonsson sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hälleforsnäs's Karl-Johan Haegg got control of the ball when Joachim Axelsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nils-Emil Wassenius was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the game, Truppen FC's Reine Jonsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl-Johan Haegg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Niklas Berglund was a little too slow when Nils-Emil Wassenius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 1-1. Truppen FC's Niklas Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Emil Wassenius in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Truppen FC's zone, Patric Backlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklas Berglund came out of the goal and Patric Backlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patric Backlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklas Berglund having to interfere. Niklas Berglund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nils-Emil Wassenius, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Karl-Johan Haegg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Axelsson in the 77th minute of play. Niklas Berglund made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patric Backlund in the 92nd minute. Eric Forsman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
