In the 8th minute Knut Bengtsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christer Åman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elliot Hammarbäck was extremely unlucky when he, in the 11th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Christian Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Elliot Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rojberga's supporters rose to their feet, but Elliot Hammarbäck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Ahlerot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Knut Bengtsson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hakenäset BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Knut Bengtsson couldn't finish the play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rojberga's goalkeeper Christer Åman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Knut Bengtsson made a precise shot to the right of Christer Åman. Rojberga's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 38 minutes, Elliot Hammarbäck made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hakenäset BK's Marcus Ahlerot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Knut Bengtsson in the 47th minute of play forced Rojberga's goalkeeper Christer Åman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Knut Bengtsson to make the kick off. Marcus Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Hägglund in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Hakenäset BK getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Alvin Beneth hit a great ball. A collision led to Rojberga getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lennart Allbom lost his temper 68 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The goalkeeper, Christer Åman, was totally fooled by Hakenäset BK's Örjan Adelsköld, who 70 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Rojberga's Elliot Hammarbäck got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Alex Frykberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 77 minutes, Elliot Hammarbäck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rojberga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elliot Hammarbäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Elliot Hammarbäck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rojberga getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Jimmy Jonasson hit a great ball. The supporters of Hakenäset BK booed when Rojberga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jimmy Jonasson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Christian Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Rojberga supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Hakenäset BK's performance. The match ended with a win for Hakenäset BK.
