Gösta Hasselqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarl Caspersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Carl Söderquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Svenljunga RK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jarl Caspersson hit a great ball. When Gösta Hasselqvist came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Rövgökarna IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gösta Hasselqvist couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Svenljunga RK's goal looked a bit too open when Gösta Hasselqvist came free, but Roger Kaxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Svenljunga RK's Roger Kaxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Ekerot in the 36th minute of play. Rövgökarna IF's Carl Söderquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Allbom in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rövgökarna IF's Sune Lustig got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reine Allbom in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carl Söderquist saved Rövgökarna IF from getting behind. After 44 minutes, Sune Lustig mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rövgökarna IF and the Svenljunga RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 played minutes Rövgökarna IF got a freekick which was hit by Sune Lustig. In the 46th match minute, Rövgökarna IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Lustig to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Svenljunga RK's Hugo Sundström tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reine Allbom was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Sigvard Algren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rövgökarna IF and the Svenljunga RK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rövgökarna IF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Sigvard Algren hit a great ball. Carl Söderquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reine Allbom in the 53rd minute of the match. Jarl Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carl Söderquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reine Allbom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svenljunga RK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hugo Sundström in the 62nd minute. A nice corner shot did that Hugo Sundström got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carl Söderquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 69 minutes into the match, Gösta Hasselqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roger Kaxe, 1-1. Svenljunga RK's Roger Kaxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gösta Hasselqvist in the 73rd minute of play. If Gösta Hasselqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Svenljunga RK booed when Rövgökarna IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Ekerot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paul Ekerot who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Roger Kaxe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Rövgökarna IF's Sune Lustig got a free kick in the 89th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Reine Allbom cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Carl Söderquist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Svenljunga RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
