In the 10th minute, Valentin Holmgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roger Kaxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Friberger in the 11th minute of the match. A beautiful save bye Mölltorp's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Svenljunga RK booed when Mölltorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Svenljunga RK's Roger Kaxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Åke Friberger in the 19th minute of play. Henning Odeen scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roger Kaxe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan Berggren made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jarl Caspersson sent off a good shot on target. Valentin Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Reine Allbom spun around in front of the goal 34 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Mölltorp's goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mölltorp's zone, Jarl Caspersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jan Berggren came out of the goal and Jarl Caspersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jarl Caspersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reine Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Berggren having to interfere. Jarl Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henning Odeen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Karl-Åke Friberger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jan Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reine Allbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 61st minute, Jarl Caspersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Berggren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Karl-Åke Friberger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Roger Kaxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Henning Odeen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reine Allbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Berggren having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Svenljunga RK's goalkeeper Roger Kaxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henning Odeen. If Henning Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Berggren came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Svenljunga RK's Reine Allbom. But to his dismay, Reine Allbom quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Jerry Sikström fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Svenljunga RK's protests and gave Jerry Sikström a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Svenljunga RK's Jerry Sikström got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mölltorp's Jan Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Allbom in the 85th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Reine Allbom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Friberger in the 93rd minute of play forced Svenljunga RK's goalkeeper Roger Kaxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Svenljunga RK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
