Ernst Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leo Bäckström having to interfere. Blattnicksele IF's Ernst Alströmer got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Jens-Erik Pilblad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute, Stig-Åke Kvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Leo Bäckström, passed just outside the right post. In the 61st minute of the match Alfred Ålberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leo Bäckström skillfully saved the ball. In the 61st match minute, Blentarp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Kellbom to maneuver through the defense. Jens-Erik Pilblad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Leo Bäckström made a huge save. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pontus Ingemarsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Blentarp's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Kvist came free, but Leo Bäckström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Tord Thedin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blentarp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Stig-Åke Kvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Erik Pilblad struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Leo Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blattnicksele IF. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Blentarp were victorious despite being under pressure from Blattnicksele IF for much of the match.
