A collision led to Hjortkvarn getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Ingemar Berggren hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Marcus Lindgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skogsgläntan Akademi and the Hjortkvarn players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Lindgren hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hannes Löfgren in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan Åberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Hannes Löfgren notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Hjortkvarn's Jan Åberg. Jan Åberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Holmberg in the 32nd minute of play forced Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Unesson charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tom Unesson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tom Unesson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Jan Åberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Holmberg in the 38th minute of the match. Morgan Alkvist hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Hannes Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Åberg. Hjortkvarn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hannes Löfgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

A collision led to Hjortkvarn getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Harald Rolandsson hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvin Springfält. Jan Åberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hannes Löfgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petter Alströmer took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edvin Dalman. Edvin Dalman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. If Petter Alströmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan Åberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from John Holmberg went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After having played for 66 minutes, Petter Alströmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hjortkvarn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Alströmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hjortkvarn's Jan Åberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Hjortkvarn from getting a goal against them. Petter Alströmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Dalman having to interfere. Tom Unesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Dalman having to interfere. Petter Alströmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, Hjortkvarn's goalkeeper Jan Åberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by John Holmberg. Hannes Löfgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jan Åberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Hjortkvarn's goal looked a bit too open when Hannes Löfgren came free, but Jan Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Hjortkvarn lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
