After a rather tough play, Skövde's Esbjörn Lindgren got a free kick in the 12th minute. Viggo Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Lundgren in the 14th minute of play. Rudolf Lundgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Oskar Olofsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Svanberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sköldinge BK's Karl-Oskar Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Svanberg in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudolf Lundgren in the 36th minute of play forced Skövde's goalkeeper Viggo Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viggo Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rudolf Lundgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 39 minutes, Yngve Nässén mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skövde and the Sköldinge BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yngve Nässén kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Karl-Oskar Olofsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Skövde fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sköldinge BK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
