Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John Bäcklin took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fabian Ivarsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Matsson having to interfere. Karl-Michael Wahlnäs kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Jumkils IF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! Per-Åke Matsson went to the wrong direction when Wilhelm Mårtensson was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ingvar Flinck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Bäcklin in the 16th minute of play. Per-Åke Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Ivarsson in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Jumkils IF got a freekick which was hit by Evert Sundling. The audience was convinced that Fabian Ivarsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Per-Åke Matsson was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Fabian Ivarssons short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Per-Åke Matsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a little luck, Jumkils IF's Per-Åke Matsson got control of the ball when Birger Blomquist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabian Ivarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Evert Sundling was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jumkils IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sorsele the free kick. The supporters of Sorsele booed when Jumkils IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Sundling didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Birger Blomquist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Ivarsson in the 41st minute of play forced Jumkils IF's goalkeeper Per-Åke Matsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sorsele's Birger Blomquist got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Fabian Ivarsson made the kick off in the second half. Birger Blomquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Fabian Ivarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Per-Åke Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fabian Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Birger Blomquist came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Sorsele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Blomquist couldn't finish the play. In the 69th minute, Birger Blomquist made a precise shot to the right of Per-Åke Matsson. Jumkils IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Sorsele's defense didn't have a chance, in the 73rd minute, when John Bäcklin scored to the left of an out of position Ingvar Flinck, making the score, 1-1. Birger Blomquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Åke Matsson having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Sorsele's Birger Blomquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Åke Matsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Fabian Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Sorsele players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
