Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yngve Nordlund made the kick off which started today's match. Matthias Bank kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Yngve Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Yngve Nordlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calle Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-0 became the score in the 16th minute when Yngve Nordlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Matthias Bank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Ahlrot having to interfere. Per-Arne Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Per-Arne Söderqwist came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Kumla BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Arne Söderqwist couldn't finish the play. Matthias Bank recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Yngve Nordlund sped through Kumla BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Calle Arvidsson. In the 34th minute of the match Hannes Bergström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sven Ahlrot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Henric Karlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karungi FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Henric Karlsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Calle Arvidsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Per-Arne Söderqwist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sven Ahlrot was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Karungi FF's Yngve Nordlund got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Per-Arne Söderqwist made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Karungi FF got a freekick which was hit by Yngve Nordlund. In the 54th minute, Karl-Michael Örn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias Bank's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sven Ahlrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Calle Arvidsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Karlsson in the 63rd minute of play. Yngve Nordlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kumla BK's Bengt Hjälm got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st match minute, Karungi FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Bogren to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Bank sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Ahlrot came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Kumla BK's Matthias Bank. But to his dismay, Matthias Bank quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bengt Hjälm during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kumla BK's Bengt Hjälm got a free kick in the 84th minute. Henric Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calle Arvidsson having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
