Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lund BF's Brian Sandell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 6 minutes, Verner Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östhammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Frykberg in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gottfrid Vesterberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kaj Åkesson came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gottfrid Vesterberg could save by the left post. In the 17th minute, Axel Frykberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottfrid Vesterberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After having played for 21 minutes, George Wallman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Östhammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but George Wallman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magne Boklund during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Isac Skog came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Östhammar's George Wallman. But to his dismay, George Wallman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Verner Martinsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filip Bäckman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Isac Skog tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 minutes, George Wallman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Östhammar and the Lund BF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Östhammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Wallman to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes into the match, Östhammar's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Sandell came free, but Gottfrid Vesterberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
With his leg Isac Skog managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Östhammar's Verner Martinsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 56 minutes into the match, Kaj Åkesson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gottfrid Vesterberg. Östhammar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Åkesson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When Östhammar's Verner Martinsson in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lund BF's goalie prevented a goal. Magne Boklund got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Magne Boklund kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Rune Uggstedt charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 66 played minutes Lund BF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Frykberg. 70 minutes into the game, Brian Sandell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gottfrid Vesterberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 74th minute, Verner Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lund BF getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jan-Ove Martinsson hit a great ball. Axel Frykberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gottfrid Vesterberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Frykberg in the 81st minute of the match. Isac Skog made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Martinsson in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes of play, Lund BF's Axel Frykberg made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Vesterberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, Lund BF's Axel Frykberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gottfrid Vesterberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Isac Skog took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Martinsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gottfrid Vesterberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Verner Martinssons short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Isac Skog to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lund BF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Östhammar for a fine match.
