Broby United's Alf Dahlkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reko Känsäkangas in the 14th minute of play. The supporters of Enköpings SK booed when Broby United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Andersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ingmar Klintæus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Ove Högström kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Alf Dahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reko Känsäkangas, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Alf Dahlkvist was a little too slow when Marko Perälä got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. Bertil Strandberg kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Jonas Kvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Broby United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Andréas Alströmmer kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes, Broby United's Leonard Lundqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Linberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broby United reached it. Marko Perälä hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jonas Kvist made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, Broby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Bergström to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Broby United's goalkeeper Alf Dahlkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingmar Klintæus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Dahlkvist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Broby United's zone, Reko Känsäkangas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Dahlkvist came out of the goal and Reko Känsäkangas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Enköpings SK's Sven-Edvin Linberg got control of the ball when Björn Andersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alf Dahlkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Björkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. When Alfred Björkman came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Enköpings SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Björkman couldn't finish the play. Reko Känsäkangas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Dahlkvist having to interfere. After 83 minutes, Alfred Björkman made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Broby United's Alf Dahlkvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marko Perälä took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Dahlkvist. Alf Dahlkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 93rd minute, Reko Känsäkangas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alfred Björkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Dahlkvist was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Enköpings SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
