Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Yngve Vik started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Yngve Vik came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Örsundsbro FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yngve Vik couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Broby United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Lundström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yngve Vik in the 9th minute of play forced Broby United's goalkeeper Alf Dahlkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute, Kurt Malmström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Yngve Vik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alf Dahlkvist was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Karl-Michael Möllgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Holm in the 14th minute of play. Yngve Vik received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alf Dahlkvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Yngve Vik slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. Valter Billström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Kurt Malmström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alf Dahlkvist having to make a save. Björn Andersson hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Yngve Vik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Malmström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alf Dahlkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alf Dahlkvist made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Kurt Malmström sent off a good shot on target. If Bertil Strandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jonas Kvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Örsundsbro FF's goalkeeper Karl-Michael Möllgren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Holm. After a defensive mix-up in Örsundsbro FF's zone, Jonas Kvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Michael Möllgren came out of the goal and Jonas Kvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peder Lundqvist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Broby United's Alf Dahlkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Vik in the 72nd minute of play. Yngve Vik scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alf Dahlkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yngve Vik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Dahlkvist having to interfere. Kurt Malmström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Dahlkvist having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Jonas Kvist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Michael Möllgren. Jonas Kvist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Örsundsbro FF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
