Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Lerum's Egil Hammarbäck started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Victor Kilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Pontus Hägglund struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Kurt Hedin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drottningskär BF. Lerum's Kurt Hedin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wictor Stenström in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johan Forsman in the 15th minute of play forced Lerum's goalkeeper Kurt Hedin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wictor Stenström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lerum's Valentin Hansson suffered a concussion in the 26th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The supporters of Lerum booed when Drottningskär BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pontus Hägglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kurt Hedin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wictor Stenström's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. The referee gave Drottningskär BF a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pontus Hägglund, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lerum's Kurt Hedin. 0-1. Kurt Hedin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Stenström in the 43rd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Egil Hammarbäck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Håkan Damm, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wictor Stenström was the one to do the kick off. Håkan Damm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Hammarbäck in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Drottningskär BF's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Samuelsson came free, but Håkan Damm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Forsman's late challenge caught a Lerum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Johan Forsman helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Drottningskär BF's Johan Forsman got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 70th minute, Egil Hammarbäck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Kurt Hedin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Wictor Stenström in the 73rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Kåre Samuelsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Kurt Hedin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wictor Stenström in the 76th minute of the match. Johan Forsman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Kurt Hedin made a huge save. Johan Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Hedin having to interfere. Kåre Samuelsson hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lerum's zone, Wictor Stenström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Hedin came out of the goal and Wictor Stenström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Wictor Stenström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
