Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Olof Enegren started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Adrian Björkman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Patrik Odman. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. Sven-Olof Enegren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Gunnar Utter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Olof Enegren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesper Haegg having to interfere. Andy Västberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Dals Rostock RK's Andy Västberg in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandhult's goalie prevented a goal. Patrik Odman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andy Västberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes, Dals Rostock RK's Ture Kihlman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Patrik Odman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dals Rostock RK reached it. 24 minutes into the match, Dals Rostock RK's Adrian Björkman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Patrik Odman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Andy Västberg sped through Sandhult's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Odman. Andy Västberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dals Rostock RK's Andy Västberg got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Dals Rostock RK booed when Sandhult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Bolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andy Västberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Ture Kihlman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Patrik Odman skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th match minute, Dals Rostock RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Utter to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Åkerman was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dag Bolin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Jesper Haegg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dals Rostock RK's Jesper Haegg got control of the ball when Dag Bolin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Andy Västberg came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Dals Rostock RK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Västberg couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Västberg in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Odman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 70 minutes into the game, Olov Carlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dals Rostock RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sandhult the free kick. Jesper Haegg made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Dag Bolin sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Andy Västberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Odman was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Björkman in the 77th minute of play forced Sandhult's goalkeeper Patrik Odman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dag Bolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sandhult's Dag Bolin got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Dag Bolin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jesper Haegg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sandhult players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dals Rostock RK.
