Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dan Källberg made the kick off which started today's match. Tom Vester was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Björn Sjögren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Björn Sjögren really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Jens-Erik Aspengren might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Stål. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jens-Erik Aspengren ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 15 minutes, Jens-Erik Aspengren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hörby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Erik Aspengren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vilgot Wennerlund took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tom Vester. Tom Vester dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tom Vester made an important save on a dangerous shot by Björn Sjögren in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute Hörby FF were awarded a corner. Jens-Erik Aspengren went to the cornerflag to take it. Jens-Erik Aspengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Stål having to interfere. Viggo Brenner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ekeby IK's zone, Hampus Algren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Stål came out of the goal and Hampus Algren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Wikander in the 35th minute of play forced Ekeby IK's goalkeeper Sebastian Stål to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ekeby IK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vilgot Wennerlund hit a great ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Jens-Erik Aspengren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ekeby IK's Sebastian Stål was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Viggo Brenner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hörby FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Hampus Algren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jens-Erik Aspengren made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jens-Erik Aspengren in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebastian Stål saved Ekeby IK from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Hampus Algren dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sebastian Stål, 2-3. Jens-Erik Aspengren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Stål having to interfere. Hörby FF's Jens-Erik Aspengren got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Stål made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jens-Erik Aspengren sent off a good shot on target. When Jens-Erik Aspengren came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Hörby FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Erik Aspengren couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the game, Vilgot Wennerlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekeby IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hörby FF the free kick. Vilgot Wennerlund kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Viggo Brenner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Hampus Algren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hörby FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hampus Algren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jens-Erik Aspengren let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 2-4 at rihgt post. After a rather tough play, Hörby FF's Wiktor Ek got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute Douglas Vikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Vester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastian Stål made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Erik Aspengren in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Arvid Nyberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ekeby IK's goalkeeper Sebastian Stål, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Arvid Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hörby FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Arvid Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Stål breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hörby FF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
