Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marc Vallmark kicked off to start the match. Marc Vallmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albin Ahlrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Albin Ahlrot came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by FF Downies's Bengt-Rune Ekman. But to his dismay, Bengt-Rune Ekman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hans Zachrisson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albin Ahlrot having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of FF Downies:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Kickers:s goal. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, FC Kickers's Ted Hedin got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Viktor Vallengren. FF Downies's Marc Vallmark got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roger Jonsson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Albin Ahlrot. FC Kickers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Albin Ahlrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Zachrisson in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match FF Downies got a corner. FC Kickers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Urban Lundhberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Elliott Bergren heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Hans Zachrisson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Albin Ahlrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FF Downies. FC Kickers's Albin Ahlrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc Vallmark in the 40th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Alf Ennegren made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Marc Vallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. FF Downies's supporters rose to their feet, but Marc Vallmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albin Ahlrot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Zachrisson got free with Albin Ahlrot in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lars Lidström kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. In the 59th minute of the match, Marc Vallmark tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albin Ahlrot saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hans Zachrisson got free with Albin Ahlrot in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the game, Brian Lundberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FF Downies's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kickers the free kick. Albin Ahlrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marc Vallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hans Zachrisson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the FF Downies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Zachrisson couldn't finish the play. Hans Zachrisson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marc Vallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Zachrisson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Albin Ahlrot firmly grabbed it by the left post. FF Downies's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
