Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marc Vallmark made the kick off which started today's match. Olof Odeen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Brian Lundberg fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FF Downies's protests and gave Brian Lundberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, FF Downies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brian Lundberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Gunnar Wallgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viktor Vallengren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to FF Downies getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Brian Lundberg hit a great ball. If Olof Odeen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viktor Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Morat in the 12th minute of the match. Hans Zachrisson's late challenge caught a Tranås's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hans Zachrisson helped the player get up and apologised. Hans Zachrisson hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Olof Odeen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Viktor Vallengren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tranås's goalkeeper Edvin Sandwall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claes Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Viktor Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viktor Vallengren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claes Waller in the 31st minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Tranås got a freekick which was hit by Claes Waller. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Claes Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranås's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Tranås's Edvin Sandwall got control of the ball when Marc Vallmark tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Zachrisson in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Claes Waller made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Claes Waller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tranås's supporters rose to their feet, but Claes Waller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viktor Vallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bengt-Rune Ekman in the 55th minute of play forced Tranås's goalkeeper Edvin Sandwall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvin Sandwall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marc Vallmark in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, Hans Zachrisson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FF Downies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans Zachrisson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, FF Downies's Emanuel Åhlberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin Sandwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Olof Odeen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Viktor Vallengren. That made the score 1-1 in the 67 minute of play. In the 72nd minute Bengt-Rune Ekman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Sandwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FF Downies getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Marc Vallmark hit a great ball. If Hans Zachrisson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt-Rune Ekman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes of play, FF Downies's Hans Zachrisson made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvin Sandwall was left in no man's land by his defense there! FF Downies's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
