Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Knut Apelqvist started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jim Sundberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. askari's supporters rose to their feet, but Jim Sundberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Sundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jim Sundberg hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Alexander Blomberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 34 minutes, Sven-Åke Näver managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. askari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Åke Näver was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jim Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Sundström having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Torsten Lundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. askari's Tord Kihlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Apelqvist in the 43rd minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience was convinced that Alexander Blomberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Sundström was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Löftadalens IF's goalkeeper Kent Sundström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kent Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niclas Nordkvist in the 71st minute of play. If Sven-Åke Näver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jan-Åke Karlstedt fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Löftadalens IF's protests and gave Jan-Åke Karlstedt a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, askari's Torsten Lundberg got a free kick in the 81st minute. Alexander Blomberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Sundström having to interfere. Andréas Palm hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Alexander Blomberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
