The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Gert Ahlstedt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Månkarbo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Loftahammar FK the free kick. After 4 played minutes Månkarbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Ahlstedt. 8 minutes into the game, Dennis Gustafsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loftahammar FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Månkarbo FF the free kick. A collision led to Loftahammar FK getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Dennis Gustafsson hit a great ball. George Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Loftahammar FK's Joachim Biörkquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin Haglund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Loftahammar FK's Joachim Biörkquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claes Vallman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nils Forss showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 21 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl Willig got free with Claes Vallman in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils Forss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Claes Vallman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gert Ahlstedt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 33 minutes had been played. After 33 played minutes Månkarbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Gert Ahlstedt. 37 minutes into the game, Loftahammar FK's Joachim Biörkquist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvin Haglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Arman Öman kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 44 minutes, Joachim Biörkquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loftahammar FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joachim Biörkquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Willig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joachim Biörkquist made a kick off. Joachim Biörkquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin Haglund having to interfere. Leonardo Bjursell's late challenge caught a Loftahammar FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Bjursell helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes Månkarbo FF got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Bjursell. After having played for 87 minutes, Karl Willig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Månkarbo FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Willig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl Willig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claes Vallman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Månkarbo FF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
