Jan-Åke Pihlwall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egil Gustafsson's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. The supporters of Sörberge booed when Lärbro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfred Forssell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Stål's late challenge caught a Sörberge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Stål helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Sörberge a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Karl-Johan Nordal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lärbro's Jan-Åke Pihlwall. 0-1. Oskar Lilja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Lilja in the 14th minute of play forced Sörberge's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oskar Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jan-Olof Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gösta Lidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Egil Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Åke Pihlwall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Olof Bennet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oskar Lilja showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. When Egil Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Sörberge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Egil Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egil Gustafsson in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jan-Åke Pihlwall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Sörberge's Gösta Lidman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan-Åke Pihlwall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Olof Bennet made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ingvar Björnberg sent off a good shot on target. Oskar Lilja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Jan-Olof Bennet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Björkdal kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. If Ingvar Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oskar Lilja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Sörberge got a freekick which was hit by David Björkdal. In the 57th minute, Egil Gustafsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Lilja in the 58th minute of play forced Sörberge's goalkeeper Jan-Olof Bennet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Gösta Lidman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan-Åke Pihlwall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. If Ingvar Björnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ingvar Björnberg struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jan-Olof Bennet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lärbro. In the 72ndth minute of the game Oskar Lilja who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sörberge's Jan-Olof Bennet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Egil Gustafsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan-Åke Pihlwall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ingvar Björnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Olof Bennet having to interfere. Ingvar Björnberg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Jan-Olof Bennet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lärbro. If Egil Gustafsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gösta Lidman struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Jan-Åke Pihlwall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sörberge. Jan-Olof Bennet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Björnberg in the 88th minute of play. When Lärbro's Oskar Lilja in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sörberge's goalie prevented a goal. After 94 minutes of play, Lärbro's Oskar Lilja made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jan-Olof Bennet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
