Casper Bredberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Blindstyre BK's Folke Brun got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunnar Ros in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Bredberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Casper Bredberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Folke Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes Blindstyre BK got a freekick which was hit by David Björk. Stig-Arne Blomberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jan-Olof Svanström. 28 minutes into the match, Gunnar Ros notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Åhus IF's Casper Bredberg. Casper Bredberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Folke Brun notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Åhus IF's Casper Bredberg. The supporters of Åhus IF booed when Blindstyre BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tord Ståhlberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Samuel Hedbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åhus IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Hedbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Bredberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Folke Brun in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Ros was the one to do the kick off. The corner ended in Arman Ryberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Åhus IF's Casper Bredberg did a great save. In the 54th minute, David Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Åhus IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Elias Möllgren hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Gunnar Ros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Pilgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Åhus IF's zone, Folke Brun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Bredberg came out of the goal and Folke Brun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 66 minutes, Gunnar Ros made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Åhus IF's Casper Bredberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pär Engström hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Folke Brun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Pilgren's late challenge caught a Blindstyre BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Pilgren helped the player get up and apologised. If Folke Brun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casper Bredberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Månsson's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Åhus IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Blindstyre BK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
