The referee ignored Sköndal's protests and gave Karl-Axel Forsberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sköndal getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Karl-Axel Forsberg hit a great ball. Magnus Andersson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Knut Karlsson. Gustav Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Otto Ahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköndal. Sigvard Pihlgren struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Magnus Andersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kumla IK. Sigvard Pihlgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Magnus Andersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigvard Pihlgren in the 14th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Kumla IK's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Sundström came free, but Otto Ahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Otto Ahlbom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Lindholm in the 28th minute of play. Otto Ahlbom came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Sköndal's Gustav Lindholm. But to his dismay, Gustav Lindholm quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 36 minutes, Sigvard Pihlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kumla IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sigvard Pihlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Karl-Axel Forsberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustav Lindholm struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Otto Ahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sköndal. Magnus Andersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Eriksson in the 53rd minute of the match. If Gustav Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otto Ahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Sundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Morgan Eriksson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Magnus Andersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gustav Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ivan Sundström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otto Ahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 83 played minutes Sköndal got a freekick which was hit by Zebastian Bäckman. After having played for 84 minutes, Morgan Eriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morgan Eriksson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magnus Andersson having to interfere. Magnus Andersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigvard Pihlgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Morgan Eriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sköndal had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
