Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Sixten Wassenius made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute, Tomas Persson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Frösö BK's David Ahlström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Claes Johansson. Claes Johansson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Joakim Öberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stellan Spetz having to make a save. If Sixten Wassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 16 played minutes Hammarstrand got a freekick which was hit by Harry Helström. 21 minutes into the match, Frösö BK's goal looked a bit too open when Joakim Öberg came free, but Stellan Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Hammarstrand booed when Frösö BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvard Larsfält didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Joakim Öberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stellan Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Ahlström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Johansson having to interfere. When Sixten Wassenius fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hammarstrand's protests and gave Sixten Wassenius a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Hammarstrand got a freekick which was hit by Sixten Wassenius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig Wallengren got free with Claes Johansson in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Wallengren to make the kick off. After having played for 56 minutes, Sixten Wassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarstrand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixten Wassenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sixten Wassenius took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stellan Spetz. Stellan Spetz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Stig Wallengren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Claes Johansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarstrand's zone, Elliott Boklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Claes Johansson came out of the goal and Elliott Boklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute, Stig Wallengren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stellan Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixten Wassenius in the 79th minute of the match. Sixten Wassenius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixten Wassenius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Spetz having to interfere. If Joakim Öberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Frösö BK's Stellan Spetz got control of the ball when Joakim Öberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
