Dals Rostock's Elias Hermansson got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nils-Erik Holmberg came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Tyresö FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nils-Erik Holmberg couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Nils-Erik Holmberg made the kick off in the second half. Walter Hult hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Michel Boström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dals Rostock's Mark Siggman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Holmberg in the 64th minute of play. When George Rydelius fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dals Rostock's protests and gave George Rydelius a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dals Rostock's George Rydelius got a free kick in the 65th minute.
