Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Sundin made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Holsbybrunn IF's goal looked a bit too open when Olof Nilsson came free, but Örjan Jespersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Örjan Jespersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After taking down the ball on Lekeryd's corner Vincent Frisck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Örjan Jespersson quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Holsbybrunn IF booed when Lekeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Håkan Hellbom didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Olof Nilsson came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Lekeryd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Nilsson couldn't finish the play. Örjan Jespersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Nilsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Aron Eliasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holsbybrunn IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Tomas Jonasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Sundin in the 23rd minute of the match. The supporters of Holsbybrunn IF booed when Lekeryd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Målare didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sven Målare hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the last second Tomas Jonasson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Aron Eliasson in the 29thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 30th minute Holsbybrunn IF were awarded a corner. Wictor Larsfält went to the cornerflag to take it. Olof Nilsson took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Örjan Jespersson. Örjan Jespersson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Olof Nilsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Hellbom in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Örjan Jespersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute, Olof Nilsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Örjan Jespersson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olof Nilsson to make the kick off. A collision led to Holsbybrunn IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Pär Melberg hit a great ball. After 62 played minutes Holsbybrunn IF got a freekick which was hit by Pär Melberg. Olof Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Örjan Jespersson made a huge save. In the 71st minute of the match Jens-Ola Engström shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Jonasson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Örjan Jespersson made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Olof Nilsson sent off a good shot on target. Håkan Hellbom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olof Nilsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Örjan Jespersson having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven Målare got free with Örjan Jespersson in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olof Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Örjan Jespersson made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Stig-Åke Fogel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Örjan Jespersson. That made the score 1-3 in the 89 minute of play. Olof Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Örjan Jespersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Håkan Hellbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Lekeryd left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Holsbybrunn IF.
